Love Is Kind
Where there is love, necessary actions will be taken for the betterment and
help of others.
To include everyone - specifically to include those who are not easily
favored
Rather than passing by due to someone’s identity, love will expend the
time, effort, and resources to restore anyone in need.
Requires a transformation of heart to see everyone as worthy.
(Example – Cory ten Boom in the concentration camp)
Application:
Prayer – “I am so grateful, Father, that You didn’t withhold kindness
towards me when I was still a sinner and apart from You. Help me to see
others the way You do, no matter how I may feel about them personally.
May I respond to their need with compassion and action.”
Intentional action: Consider someone for whom there may be animosity
and take an action that will be to their benefit – prayer, giving, serving.
With a purpose of gaining the Father’s heart and action towards others in
their need, allow prayer in the Spirit to take this revelation to transformation
