-There is one God who is the creator of all things, and He will forever be known in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:4-6 ASV There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; (5) one Lord, one faith, one baptism, (6) one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.
-There is a relationship with the Creator that is available to every living person.
John 3:16 ASV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
-In accepting and developing this relationship there is discovery of a fulfilled life of abundance.
John 10:10 ASV The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
-The introduction or entrance to this new way of living begins with the reception of Jesus, the living Son of God, as Savior and as Lord.
Romans 10:8-10 ASV But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: (9) because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: (10) for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
-It is necessary for the old way to die completely and make way for the new man, which is represented in baptism, an essential part of salvation.
Mark 16:16 ASV He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
-To live and progress in the power of His presence, the Father has given the Holy Spirit to comfort, guide, instruct and make effective all those who experience His fullness with heavenly heart communication/speaking in other tongues.
Acts 1:8 ASV But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 2:4 ASV And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
-We are also given His inspired, unchanging Word where He speaks to us about Himself and every aspect of our new life in Him. It is the foundation upon which faith in Him is based.
Psalms 119:105 ASV Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And light unto my path.
-His power and desire to heal and affect every part of our physical, mental and spiritual existence with His heart of love is revealed and made real in every honored and applied truth.
James 1:25 ASV But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.
-Growing in the knowledge and awareness of His presence, there will be evidence seen in our lives as we are transformed from a self-indulged lifestyle to one that is touched by the giving and loving heart of God.
2 Corinthians 2:14 ASV But thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest through us the savor of his knowledge in every place.
-We will be given purpose and vision for living as we find our value and worth in pursuing Him and letting our every moment be affected by the reality of His love.
2 Timothy 1:9 ASV who saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,
-As there is a consequence of ultimate death and hell for living a life without this relationship with the Father God, there is also a reward of eternal life at His side in a special place He is preparing for each one that chooses His life.
Romans 6:23 ASV For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 ASV (17) then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
