Psalms 85:13 (NKJV)
13 Righteousness will go before Him, And shall make His footsteps our pathway.

Great men of all time have done much more than just follow existing paths. They construct and form the pathways that are to their liking and convenience. Armies that are advancing where roads do not exist will build necessary passages across pristine terrain as needed. Sometimes the best route will be the one that is planned and created.

In allowing our course to be charted by our Father, we will not be limited to existing options of the world. Faithfulness to Him and His leading means our pathway will be constructed by the righteousness of His footsteps in the fulfillment of His plan and purpose. From His movements will come the forming of our path as the perfect course for our life. Departing from any other movements, then, and becoming one with His will yield the most protected life of blessing and treasure.

The one thing about following a charted course is the need to “follow the plan.” even when things are coming against us. If we try and veer off Gods plan, following our own plans, we can surely get ourselves into trouble and never find our destiny. Too many times we want to lean on our own understanding and not follow the leading of the Spirit. The Word is where we find the ability to find the plan!
The Word will divide between soul and spirit. Directing us to the lit way. Perceptions coming from understandings can deceive. Gods Word is the plum-line to the Truth we should follow after.
