Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)
31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.Hebrews 4:15 (AMPC)
15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
When that moment comes, it’s essential to not miss out on its opportunity. When access is given to the presence of the king, the one who is gracious, merciful, and extremely generous, how important it is to receive your answer there and intentionally experience the relief and victory that is provided in his presence. A good king will lift and not let down or discourage. His mission and purpose is to seek out and provide for all of his subjects, never letting them become isolated and helpless. Rather than looking for reasons to crush and diminish them, he will rightly lift and cause them to soar above anything that might harm or disable them. As this is his goal, something he’s so equipped to do, those moments in his presence when he’s actively working to uplift, encourage, and strengthen need to receive undivided attention and applied reception. When his way is given to rise and soar, it would be a great shame to miss his victory over refusal to let go of a dark place. Submission to his help will mean intentionally rising to where it will lead to peace, relief, and affirmation.
No matter what we’ve experienced with the world’s challenges and discouragements, we’ve been given access to the presence of the King of kings, where He has already prepared comfort, strength, and provision way more than is needed. His passion isn’t just to put a Band-Aid on our cares, but He’s made a way for us to soar far above those things we were once far beneath. He receives us with open arms as if we’re really somebody worth loving, no matter how we’ve failed or fallen short. He gives us His name, which is the fullness of all He’s done, is doing, and will do where there is power to rise to victory with purpose. He causes us to triumph in all our concerns so we can soar with Him in the significance and influence of the kingdom. This is what His blood has given us access to. As great as this opportunity is, though, our advance to our place in Him and our reception of His provision is the only missing part of His plan. There is no limit to where He will take us, but it will be dependent on how much we’re willing to relinquish from the old realm and yield to in Him.
